Places to stay/camp	Not a very developed tourist infrastructure. Good bush camping in less populated areas.
Other information	GMT-6 hrs. No visas necessary for UK or Irish passport holders. Quick and painless importation of vehicle, total costs about $50. Carnet not accepted. Internet widespread. Major roads apparently recently upgraded, back roads still very rough. Still fairly expensive, but not as touristy as Costa Rica. People less friendly than we have encountered elsewhere - a few motorists downright hostile.
